2 year old goes Stand Up Paddling Solo - Kiara Goold

No huge waves, no fancy boards and no bleach blonde surfer boys here. Just old fashioned awesomeness that could only be brought to you by a GoPro. 

Life over in Tahiti must be pretty sweet for any one. But imagine growing up amidst it all with whatever kind of gear you want just sitting in the front yard ready to go. That's little Kiara's life, swimming, playing on the beach, stand up paddling with her dad (who used to be a pro kiteboarder). Must be hard work! 

But would you stick your two year old on a SUP and let her paddle out into the open bay? You betcha if you're the Goold family in Tahiti. Kiara's loving it and making good headway for a 2 year old on a board that probably weighs 10 times her weight. Try talking a city kid into paddling away from their parents though, not a chance! This kid is full of confidence in the water and aside from swimming around and having a ball - she's giving Stand up paddling a red hot crack too.

It's great to see, and hopefully it will inspire some adventurous mums and dads in Australia to get their kids out on the water with them! Now... Where to find that palm tree lined beach?
